This Tour's Itinerary
Depart your group's location in a spacious, video and restroom equipped motorcoach as you head for your destination: Memphis – Home of the Blues, Soul & Rock n Roll. Tonight, check into an en route hotel for a good night's rest.
After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will depart for Lane Southern Orchards in Fort Valley, GA. Later in the day, enjoy Dinner and check into your en route hotel.
Today, after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will continue towards your destination. This evening, you will have Dinner and check into your Memphis area hotel for a four night stay.
Start with a Continental Breakfast, then you'll enjoy a visit to the MEMPHIS ROCK 'N' SOUL MUSEUM. Since opening its doors in 2000, the Rock ‘N' Soul Museum has been seen by over 200,000 tourists. Take an audio guided tour through the museum's seven galleries and see the story of rock and soul unfold through extensive audio footage, artifacts and audio visual programs. Next, you'll enjoy lunch on your own on BEALE STREET. Next, you'll explore the city of Memphis with a GUIDED TOUR. See key landmarks and monuments that are important to the Civil Rights Movement. Tonight, enjoy Dinner at a local restaurant then return to your hotel for a good night's rest.
After a Continental Breakfast, your group will have a memorable day, starting with a visit to the NATIONAL CIVIL RIGHTS MUSEUM, dedicated to Martin Luther King Jr's struggle for equality. The museum offers 260 artifacts, more than 40 new films, interactive media and external listening posts that guide visitors through five centuries of history. This afternoon, you'll enjoy some free time and shopping in the Memphis area. Later, you'll enjoy an authentic Memphis themed Dinner with Entertainment.
Today after Continental Breakfast, you'll enjoy a visit to the SLAVE HAVEN UNDERGROUND RAILROAD MUSEUM. Later, you'll enjoy a visit to the STAX MUSEUM OF AMERICAN SOUL MUSIC - a 17,000 square foot museum with more than 2,000 videos, films, photographs, and original instruments used to record Stax's hits. This evening, you will enjoy Dinner then return to your hotel for a good night's rest.
Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before leaving for the Birmingham Botanical Gardens in Birmingham, AL, featuring the largest clear glass greenhouse in the Southeast. Later that day, after a relaxing Dinner, you'll check into your en route hotel.
Today you will have a Continental Breakfast and then go to the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library & Museum in Atlanta, GA. Tonight, relax in your en route hotel.
